Member School

By becoming a member, your school gains access to the full range of ALDS benefits. Additionally, all employees at your institution will automatically receive access to these exclusive member benefits, ensuring that your entire team can take advantage of the resources and opportunities provided by ALDS.

In order to be considered for ALDS membership, interested schools must adhere to the following criteria:

  1. Non-public school that specializes in educating students with learning differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, and executive function challenges

  2. Specific Admissions Criteria based on the above learning profile

  3. Fully accredited by an accrediting organization approved by the National Association of Independent Schools and/or International Council Advancing Independent School Accreditation (ICAISA), or a comparable international accreditation body

  4. All students receive Science of Reading-aligned instruction grounded in research-based practices designed for students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, and executive function challenges

ALDS is currently not accepting applications from schools whose primary mission serves learning profiles outside of those listed above: dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, and executive dysfunction.
